Abstract: In contrast to conventional bikes, Airwheel E3, more lightweight and smarter can be collapsed into backpack.
However, the traditional bicycle, limited to short-distance travel is under great pressure because of the road right of motor vehicles. For another, in the fast-paced society, the bicycle, labor-intensive and slowish is losing its competitiveness gradually.
E3 inventor Airwheel estimates a 12.5-mph (/h) top speed and maximum range around 15.5 to 18.6 miles (25-30 km) subject to various factors, like road conditions and riders' weights etc. It is lithium battery powered without transmission gears. The system relies on an electronic brake for stopping, and the battery takes about 200 minutes(247.9Wh)to charge. The built-out modular battery design with USB port empowers E3 to play a versatile role.
The handlebar is coupled with EBS (P in red) and bell in the left, phone holder and headlight in the middle, power indicator and accelerator in the right. E3 selects a ventilated rubber saddle in innovative left-right design to guarantee a balanced force on hips. It installs 8 inch pneumatic front tire and solid rear tire to ensure the smooth riding.
E3 electric folding bike weighs 27.6 lb (12.5 kg) and measures 474*399*374 mm that is compact enough to slide into a backpack. It is designed for riders up to 220 lb (100 kg). It certainly seems like a good way of commuting around tight city spaces, from small apartment, to public transit and to office cubicle. Moreover, there is an exclusively designed backpack for E3, to lift, pull or pack.
Between its quick-fold mechanisms, compact folded size and light weight, Airwheel E3 backpack e bike is smart with an accompanying App that allows cyclists to learn the real-time positioning, control the speed, track their journey and share data with other users. Besides the basic functions, its App also realizes fault self-diagnosis and setting speed.
Now, E3 has been available in the market.
