Abstract: The ultimate goal of Airwheel is to let the public enjoy a free intelligent life. In 2017, a bunch of new products have been rolled out to enlarge its consumer base. A6S self-balance personal transport, H3 motorized wheelchair, R6 and R8 electric cross bikes are designed for different groups.
Airwheel A6S self-balancing wheelchair is the second model in A series. Like A3, it installs aerospace attitude control theory, fuzzy software algorithm and gyroscope system to keep balance. Riders can go backward and forward by leaning backward and forward. It differs from A3 in many aspects. If they want to change directions, they need to turn the handle controller on which there is a super large LED display showing the real-time data. Also, the automatic kickstands make A6S convenient to park.
After R5 and R3, Airwheel released another two models in R series again—R6 and R8 lightweight trekking bikes. Both install the trip computers to learn the real-time data and alter ride modes, instead of smartphone App. R8 supports three ride modes, like the previous two. R6 can be ridden in two ways—man-powered mode and moped mode. In man-powered mode, riders can step on the pedals one foot by one foot and pedal it to go forward. In moped mode, the power sensor can sense the rotation, and then give signal to the controller when the riding ring exceeds three rings, so that power-assisted mode is activated. Moreover, R8 is more powerful than others, due to the super large wheels and powerful motors.
Airwheel H3 folding electric wheelchair is a new series and it is the founding model of H series. It is mainly designed for physically inconvenienced riders. Firstly, it is easy to operate. All controls can be realized via the handlebar controller, like going forward, backward, and turning left and right. When the handlebar controller fully released, H3 stops and is in the braking state. Another highlight of H3 is the ability to fold and unfold automatically.
